Performance & Looks
On stage there are two things that matter:
- Performance
- Looks
Off-stage you need to ignore the following things because they don’t matter:
- Hunger
- Cravings
- Desire
- Comfort
- Tiredness
Imagine never laying on the couch again. How different would your life be? Picture yourself in a world of constant motion. The only rest you’d have is the 5 minutes in the sauna after a long show.
My daily schedule:
5:00am – wake up, shower and put on my gym clothes
5:30am – workout for 2 hours
7:30am – powernap
8:00am – work on new routines for 3 hours
11:00am – physical therapy & sometimes a massage (still haven’t eaten anything)
12:00pm – Eat & Meet with the show staff
1:00pm – goat work (practicing gymnastic moves)
4:00pm – get ready for the show (if there isn’t a show, do a simulation)
7:00pm – dinner with the cast & crew
9:00pm – my time for the next 0-30 minutes (however long I can stay up)
That’s my life… everyday. People think that fame is everything it’s cracked up to be. Maybe that’s true for a rapper, but for a performing artist like myself it’s much different. Fame isn’t everything. Sometimes I wish that I could just relax on the couch and binge watch netflix for whole day.
