This week David Walliams confirmed the news that there will be no more Little Britain. It's not particularly suprising as most of us have been expecting it for a while. The US version of the show was somewhat of a flop compared to the original show which must have contributed heavily to their decision.

They have provided us with years of laughs and Little Britain will always have a legion of fans. You can have too much of a good thing so at least they are leaving it as a classic rather then tiring the show out.

There are (apparently) still plans for a Little Britain movie so keep your eyes peeled for news on that! And hopefully they will also do one-off special episodes for charity and special events.

Long live Little Britain!

At the moment they seem to be showing a decent amount of repeats on a couple of the Sky digital channels (UK). They show both the originals, Little Britain Abroad and also the US version.

Times of showings vary but it is normally around mid to late evening on the usual comedy channels. So watch out for them!

Sony and Sky have teamed up to launch a new video-on-demand service called Go!View for the UK and ROI. Subscriptions start from only £5 per month and will allow you to watch great comedy shows like Little Britain and The Catherine Tate Show.

The BBC has teamed with Nokia to show some of its content on the company's new N96 device. Under the Australian deal N96 owners will be able to download a whole series of programme such as Little Britain and The Catherine Tate Show.

Little Britain USA is hitting TV screens across American very soon (Sept 29th on HBO) and it looks like Matt Lucas is getting out and about before the show takes off.
