Andy & Lou – The Bank – Re-Take

EXT.Street. Lou Is pushing Andy down the street in his wheel chair. Andy is eating Crisps.

TOM V/O: Lou is taking his only friend Andy to the bank. Banks can be used for a number of things the most common is to store your wife, while you have a romantic affair with the woman next door.

Lou: I have to go and get something out of the safe deposit box first. So I can get some money to buy you some more food. Is that ok?

Andy: Yep!

Lou: Ok then, up we go.

Lou pushes Andy up the steps.

INT.Bank. Inside the bank there quite a few people queued at the desk.

Lou: Ok I’m going to leave you here for a minute.

Andy: Why?

Lou: I said Andy, so I can get something out of the safe deposit box.

Andy: Yeah I Know.

Lou walks away with the bank manager.

Andy gets out of his seat, and puts a stocking over his head. You then start to see in shot a light fitting leading up to a vent shaft on the roof. There is a balcony that would provide a good jump onto the light for Andy. Andy then runs up the steps onto the balcony and climbs onto the railings, ready to jump. He jumps onto the light and then climbs up the light into the vent very easy. You then start to see a little pouch on Andy with rope and maps in it. He then comes to a small vent and secures the rope in place. The sound of the volt opening is then herd and Lou walks in with the manager.

Lou: Yeah Andy is very good but can sometimes be hard work, I suppose it must be hard for him being stuck in that wheel chair all the time without being able to get out and enjoy life.

Manager: Yeah, although a friend of mine knew a woman who knew a man who cared for a man in a wheel chair who could actually walk, but the carer didn’t know.

Lou: Yeah, Yeah, Andy wouldn’t be like that.

 Lou then opens the safe deposit box in the volt and walks out while the manager is still inside checking everything is ok. Andy then breaks open the vent shaft into the volt and slides down the rope, in a ‘Mission impossible style’. Andy then starts to sweat and it starts to drip down. The manager then looks up after seeing the water drop.

Manager: Wha?, Wha?, you shouldn’t be in here…

Andy: Yeah I know!

Andy then slides down the rope very fast and hits the manger over the head and knocks him out. Andy then starts to fill his pouch up with money and other stuff from the volt. When he has done he then climbs up the rope very fast, back down the vent and onto the light. He then jumps from the light and lands just inside his wheel chair, just before Lou comes back through the door, still with the stocking over his head.

Lou: Andy are you ok you look exhausted.

Andy: Can I have my inhaler.

Lou gives him his inhaler.

Lou: Andy, is there a reason for some ladies stockings on your head?

Andy: Yeah!

Lou: Oh ok.

INT. Volt the co manager comes to see why the volt is still open, he then finds the manager unconscious on the floor he then runs and sets the alarm off.

INT. Main area of bank, the alarms are going off and the shutters are down. Everyone is scared.

EXT.Street. Andy and Lou are moving away from the bank when swarms of police go flying past them in the cars to the bank.

Lou: (joking) the bank must have been robbed (laughs at himself)

Andy: (laughs) Yeah.
